Damage Waiver Terms and Conditions:

Damage waiver reduces the liability you are responsible for in the event of damage or theft of the hire vehicle. If the damage waiver is included in your booking the excess amounts are as follows, Super Prestige £5,000 (these are vehicles valued over £100,000) and Prestige £2,000 (these are vehicles valued under a £100,000).

To lower the excesses our damage waiver can be purchased from as little as £17.00 per day for a maximum of 20 days.

Customers who can provide independent verified provision to cover the damage and theft to the vehicle may be able to decline the damage waiver. If you decline the damage waiver you will be required to pay these charges and then seek compensation from your carrier. Please be aware that the damage waiver is not an insurance policy.

Exclusions:

  1. Alcoholism or the use of drugs. (other than drugs taken in accordance with treatment prescribed and directed by a registered medical practitioner, but not for the treatment of any drug addiction).
  2. Loss or damaged directly or indirectly caused through or in the consequence of war, terrorism, invasion, acts of foreign enemies.
  3. Any fraudulent, dishonest or criminal act committed by any person in connection with this policy.
  4. Loss arising from operation of the hired vehicle in violation of the terms of the hire agreement.
  5. Any amount recovered for the hire vehicle by the hire company.
  6. Any vehicles that are not hired through the hire company.
  7. Wear, tear mechanical or electrical breakdown.
  8. Losses arising out of illegal activities.
  9. Driving by any persons not covered by the hire company.
  10. Losses occurring from not driving on a public highway.
  11. Additional travel expenses unless otherwise stated in the policy wording.
  12. Consequential losses unless stated in the policy wording.
  13. Any claim arising while driving in violation of the road laws of the country.
  14. Damage to the hire vehicle interior unless the damage is a result of an accidental collision.
  15. Damage to the vehicle due to mis-fuelling of the vehicle.
  16. Loss of keys to the vehicle.
